Brief History

On May 1, 1993, the contemplative community of the Carmelite Monastery of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was canonically erected in the Diocese of Alaminos. From the Carmelite Monastery of the Holy Family in the Diocese of Malolos the foundresses were seven sisters, namely; Sr. Ma. Susana Garcia, Sr. Ana Maria Bernardo, Sr. Ma. Elena Tolentino, Sr. Ma. Justina Panganiban, Sr. Ma. Barbara Pulido, Sr. Ma. Lourdes Siozon and Sr. Janet Marie Espinosa. In the heart of the Diocese of Alaminos, they built their contemplative community following faithfully the charism of the Carmelite Order and the observance of Papal Enclosure.

Vision-Mission

We are cloistered Carmelite nuns, women consecrated to GOD, striving to live in union with God and to be one in mind and heart for the service of His Church and the human family. We contribute to the growth of faith of the People of God by living faithfully our life dedicated to prayer and contemplation, always open to God’s Word, like Mary, and to His presence in the Eucharist, in His creation, in our hearts and in each person, and by responding to the needs of the people not only by our prayers and sacrifices but also by whatever we can share with them. Our community witnesses to the True and Living GOD.
